Dr. Bav Shergill

Dr Bav Shergill trained in dermatology in London and has been a Consultant since 2007.

His specialist area of interest is the treatment of skin cancer and he is the lead clinician for Mohs Micrographic Surgery in Sussex. In addition, he was the lead clinician for the Sussex Specialist Skin Cancer Multidisciplinary Team for five years.

He is skilled in complex surgical techniques such as Mohs micrographic surgery and a range of laser treatments. Furthermore, he also treats general dermatology skin problems such as eczema, acne and rashes. His private practice covers all areas of Dermatology including cosmetic treatments such as Botox, Fillers and Laser resurfacing. He has a particular interest in the management of acne and acne scarring.

Dr Shergill is also a member of the British Association of Dermatologists, British Society of Dermatological Surgery. Additionally, he is a member of the American Society of Dermatological Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatologists.

Dr Shergill is a past president of the British Cosmetic Dermatology Group (part of the British Association of Dermatologists). Also, he is the chair of the Skin Cancer Prevention Group as well as a trustee of the British Skin Foundation. Further, he is a media spokesperson for the British Association of Dermatologists and is often asked to comment on skin disease in print, on radio and television.

Dr Shergill’s approach to cosmetic treatments is methodical, with fine attention to detail that patients love. His goal is for his patients to look like they are relaxed, happy and healthy after their cosmetic treatments.

Dr Shergill lives by the sea and enjoys walking his dog, gardening, skiing and travel.
