If using private medical insurance, please provide your membership number and a pre-authorisation (care) number prior to your appointment. If this is not provided, you will be treated as a self-funding patient. Most insurers require prior consent for consultations or procedures – please check directly with your insurer. Please check this with your insurance before attending your appointment. Failure to gain prior consent from your insurer is not the responsibility of the clinic or Consultant and you will be liable for any outstanding fees that are not covered by your insurance.
Self-funding patients: A £200 payment is taken at the time of booking to secure your consultation. The doctor will advise of any further fees before proceeding with treatment.
Insured patients: A pre-authorisation of your debit/credit card will be made upon booking. We reserve the right to charge for late cancellations, non-attendance fees, and any excess not covered by your insurance. You will be notified of any such charges.
At your first appointment, we will ask you to check your details on a registration form and sign to confirm they are all correct. We also include the following statements on our registration forms which you will need to agree to prior to being seen by the clinician:
If you need to rearrange or cancel your appointment, please contact our bookings team via email or telephone as soon as possible. Your deposit is fully refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will be charged a £50 late cancellation fee. If you fail to attend the appointment without prior notification the consultation fee is not refundable. For patients with private medical insurance, the debit or credit card you used to secure your booking over the phone or at reception will be charged with the £200 fee. All charges will be notified.
