Dr. Alison Uttley

Dr Alison Uttley: BDS, MBBS, BTec Skin, FDSRCS, MBCAM.

Dr Uttley is an Oral Surgery specialist and Aesthetic Medicine practitioner. She has worked in this field for over 18 years. Her original, registered and prescribing qualification in Dentistry was completed in 1989. This was followed by a qualification in Medicine at St Bartholomew’s’ Hospital, University of London in 1998. Furthermore, she has considerable hospital experience in the field of Maxillofacial Surgery and gained a postgraduate dental fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons (FDSRCS) in 1997. Additionally, Dr Uttley is a Member of the British Association of Oral Surgeons.

For ten years after her initial degree, she worked in London teaching hospitals in Southend and Poole General Hospitals. Some of her early postgraduate research involved psychology and facial aesthetics. Together with her love of anatomy, this led her into the field of Cosmetic Medicine.

Dr Uttley is fully trained and indemnified to practice non-surgical cosmetic procedures. In addition, she loves teaching and attending courses to update her knowledge and network. Moreover, she is a full member of the British College of Aesthetic Medicine and has a Diploma in Skin Laser applications.

For clarity and to avoid misrepresentation, Dr Uttely wishes to stress that she is not a GMC registered practitioner. She is a specialist in the field of Oral Surgery, a dental specialty, with an additional medical degree. Her qualifications are registered instead with the General Dental Council.
